COMPUTERLINKS creates new opportunities for channel in data centre infrastructure management with Raritan partnership
Raritan, a leading innovator of power management, infrastructure management, KVM and serial solutions for data centres, today announced an agreement in the UK and Ireland with COMPUTERLINKS UK, the next generation distributor of IT security and Internet technology solutions. The agreement means that Raritan’s Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) solutions, including remote access, power and serial monitoring, are now available for all channel partners to deliver, irrespective of their size, as they work with clients to build out their next generation data centres.
The increasing demand for new and more powerful IT-based applications combined with the economic benefits of consolidating physical assets has led to an unprecedented growth of data centres and with them the demand for tools such as DCIM. Gartner predicts that DCIM tools will soon become mainstream in data centres, growing from one per cent penetration in 2010 to sixty per cent in 2014.

Raritan appoints new Sales Manager Benlux
Raritan Europe has appointed Roeland Dillen as Sales Manager Benelux. Roeland has assisted numerous companies with designing, innovating and equipping their data centers. Over the years Roeland is considered to be an experienced specialist with a wide knowledge of facility management and ICT Technology. Roeland is Dutch and will be based out of Raritan's European Headquarters at Capelle aan den IJssel, The Netherlands.
According to Stuart Hopper, Raritan Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Europe and Africa, Mr. Dillen will assist partner organizations to develop strategic business opportunities in the areas of remote access and power management. “We are very pleased to have Roeland join the Raritan team and to expand our capabilities in the Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxembourg,” said Mr. Hopper. “Throughout Europe, customers are finding that Raritan’s solutions are the best available in managing IT infrastructures.
